Downtown Restaurant Week is this week, so it's the perfect time for you
to meet Busy Bee Cafe's new chef, David Mitchell. Chef Mitchell is a graduate of Johnson & Wales and has worked at NOFO and for the Urban Food Group.
You're invited to meet him on Tuesday, August 23 at 7 p.m. and talk with
him about his vision for the Bee's menu. You also can sample a few
items from the revamped menu, which will debut in mid-September, and
give him your feedback.
The event will take place on the mezzanine inside the restaurant.
And because it's Downtown Restaurant Week, triangle.com will provide three lucky attendees with a $20 gift card to Busy Bee.
Also as part of the event, the Busy Bee will have samples of its new
homebrew collaboration with John Federal. The Rye Saison with rosemary
is a part of the Bee's monthly Homebrewer Highlight.
